A Randomized Controlled Study to Evaluate the Safety and Effectiveness of Boston Scientific Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) Systems in the Treatment of Chronic Low Back and/or Leg Pain with No Prior Surgeries (WaveWriter-SOLIS)

This clinical research study, funded by Boston Scientific, is underway to demonstrate the value of spinal cord stimulation (SCS) in the treatment of chronic pain. The goal of the study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) with multiple modalities compared to Conventional Medical Management (CMM) in patients with chronic low back and/or leg pain who have not undergone spinal surgery. The Boston Scientific SCS System will be evaluated based on how well it treats chronic low back pain and/or leg pain as compared to CMM and if there are any side effects.
