Assistant Professor Positions — General and Subspecialty Roles
The Department of Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical College and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is actively recruiting qualified candidates for faculty positions. Located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, we are one of the nation’s top five hospitals. We provide services to our main hospital, DHK ambulatory care center and our state-of-the-art Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns which opened in 2020. Clinical faculty take variable overnight in-house call for approximately four weeks which generates approximately $90,000 in additional compensation and post call days off specific to call work. We are seeking motivated and highly qualified individuals who demonstrate a strong academic commitment and a genuine interest in developing clinical research or educational programs.
All candidates must be ABA eligible or certified and be eligible for medical licensure in New York State. The full-time clinical compensation range is based on experience and subspecialty training from $350,000 - $425,000 per annum plus significant additional pay for short and long call work.
Weill Cornell Medicine provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range listed is for full‐time employment not including bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs. The above salary range for New York City based roles represents WCM’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
