Faculty Present at the Salzburg Medical Seminars

Faculty from the Department of Anesthesiology participated in the Open Medical Institute’s 2018 Salzburg Medical Seminars, held in Austria from June 17 to 23. Department Chair Dr. Hugh Hemmings served as a course director.

The Open Medical Institute is a global initiative established by doctors from Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital to bridge the knowledge gap between East and West and prevent brain drain from countries in transition. Twenty nine fellows attended this year's program, representing 27 countries.
