A Warm Welcome to Our 2018-19 Chief Residents

The Department of Anesthesiology's three new chief residents share one common goal: to continue to prioritize resident wellness and social support. 

Dr. Harmandeep Singh hails from Punjab, India, moving to the United States when he was a child. He studied cell biology and neuroscience at Rutgers University, and earned his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Surrounded by faculty, family and friends, 20 residents and 14 fellows of the Department of Anesthesiology were honored in a festive and elegant graduation ceremony at The Pierre on June 1. Department Chair Dr. Hugh Hemmings welcomed the graduates and their guests, remarking that he was heartened to see such bright and passionate doctors graduate from the program.
