Dr. Louis Maggio Retires

Dr. Louis Maggio, assistant professor of clinical anesthesiology, has retired from the Department of Anesthesiology. Friends, family and colleagues from across the Weill Cornell community gathered in the Griffis Faculty Club on September 30 to celebrate Dr. Maggio's five decades of service.

Weill Cornell Anesthesiologists Participate in Center for Human Rights Training

Faculty and residents from the Department of Anesthesiology joined the Weill Cornell Center for Human Rights (WCCHR) for a training session to help refugees.

The training, held September 10, gave physicians the skills to medically evaluate victims of torture who are seeking asylum in the United States, and to prepare medical affidavits to document their findings.
