Pain Medicine Center Welcomes New Faculty Member

On October 1, 2013, the Department of Anesthesiology and the Pain Medicine Center welcomed a new faculty member, Lisa R. Witkin, MD. She joins the Weill Cornell faculty after completing an Anesthesiology Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and a pain management fellowship at the New York Presbyterian Hospital Tri-Institutional Fellowship Program (Weill Cornell Medical College, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center).

Weill Cornell Anesthesiology Residents Honored by New York Academy of Medicine

The New York Academy of Medicine held its annual Anesthesiology Residents Night for 2013 on the evening of September 25.

The event brought together clinicians and researchers from Anesthesiology programs across the region. Residents presented papers and posters on both basic science and clinical research.
