The clinicians of Weill Cornell Anesthesiology care for hundreds of patients each day, and thousands every year. But from time to time, the clinicians and staff of NewYork Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center will find themselves becoming patients. This was the case for Steven Spandorfer, MD, who suffered a heart attack last year while on duty. One of the first colleagues on the scene to assist him was Farida Gadalla, MB ChB, Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology.
NewYork-Presbyterian told Dr. Spandorfer's story in a video released recently for the annual NYP Kick-Off event. Please view his amazing story in the viewer below, or visit the NYP Youtube page HERE.
