Last night, we welcomed all 20 new residents to both the department and New York City by participating in an "Escape the Room" event night! This cerebral team-building exercise had residents both new and old divided into four teams led by myself, and Drs. Lien, Rubin, Selzer, and Pick.
After we all successfully 'escaped' in under the obligatory hour (sadly my team was the slowest!) we continued the celebration over Korean fried chicken in Alphabet City.
It was a great event that will surely be repeated - well done to CA-3 Patti Pang and the Residency Support Council for putting it all together.
And welcome to all our new residents; good luck out there tomorrow!
