For New York City residency programs, the second half of this academic year was unlike any, ever. Putting into words what we as a training program and an anesthesiology department went through, in many ways feels too personal to share in a public format. To be sure, every single one of our 78 residents made me prouder than I have ever been as program director, and I am pleased to reveal a permanent tribute of the Cornell Anesthesiology Residency's work combatting Coronavirus in the spring of 2020 that will exist on the wall of our resident library.

And though this year's graduation was as unique as the last four months was, it will go down in Cornell Anesthesiology history in many ways as a grander celebration than any in-person event has ever been. A huge thank you to everyone that made this special event for the deserving Class of 2020 possible.
