The Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) held its third annual Mentored Research Training Grants (MRTG) Meeting on May 10-12, 2023 in Washington, DC. Each year, the event provides vital opportunities for early-career faculty supported by FAER's research grants to come together for networking, professional development and presentations.

Department Chair Dr. Hugh Hemmings, who is also chair of the MRTG committee and a member of FAER's board of directors, gave the closing keynote address.
Also in attendance were Drs. Richard Boyer and Robert White who gave presentations at the annual meeting. Drs. Hemmings, Boyer and White are all previous FAER grant winners: Dr. Boyer (2021 GEMSSTAR Awardee), Dr. White (2021 MRTG Awardee) and Dr. Hemmings (1992 NIA Awardee).
