
Faculty from the Department of Anesthesiology participated in the Open Medical Institute’s 2019 Salzburg Weill Cornell Seminar in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, held in Austria from September 15 to 21. Department Chair Dr. Hugh Hemmings served as a course director.
The Salzburg Medical Seminars is a global initiative established by doctors from Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital to bridge the knowledge gap between East and West and prevent brain drain from countries in transition. 37 fellows attended this year's program, representing 29 countries and regions.
