
Faculty from the Department of Anesthesiology traveled to Austria to participate in the Open Medical Institute's 29th Annual Salzburg Weill Cornell Seminar in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. Department Chair Dr. Hugh Hemmings, Jr. served as a course director.
The Salzburg Medical Seminars is a global initiative established by doctors from Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital along with other leading medical institutions to bridge the knowledge gap between East and West and prevent brain drain from countries in transition.
This year, 38 fellows were selected to attend representing 33 countries.
