Dr. Christine Lennon, assistant professor of anesthesiology, was accepted into the NewYork-Presbyterian LEAD (Leadership Education and Development for Physicians) Academy. The academy is an 18-month training program for early career physicians who demonstrate high potential as future leaders. Led by experts from nationally-renowned institutions, it provides participants with skills in management, healthcare policy, applied business and other high-yield components of an MBA and MHA. Dr. Lennon will also complete an in-depth capstone project.
Dr. Neel Mehta, assistant professor of anesthesiology and medical director of the Pain Management division, was accepted into the LEAD Advanced Program. As a member of the program's inaugural class, Dr. Mehta will participate in the academy's didactic sessions.
