The Department of Anesthesiology is pleased to note that Dr. Nikolaos Skubas, professor of clinical anesthesiology and of anesthesiology in clinical cardiothoracic surgery, was highlighted for his ongoing contributions as an author and reviewer to the journal
Anesthesia & Analgesia.
The current issue marks a transition for the journal, as Editor-in-Chief Dr. Steven Shafer steps down. In his outgoing remarks, Dr. Shafer thanked the journal's community of authors, reviewers and editors. Dr. Skubas is featured in an accompanying graphic as the journal’s most active reviewer, having submitted 595 reviews over the last decade.
“The expertise of our reviewers set our standard for scholarly rigor,” wrote Dr. Shafer.
Dr. Skubas is the Executive Section Editor for Perioperative TEE and Cardiovascular Education.
