Department Hosts Resident Graduation

The Department of Anesthesiology hosted a joyful graduation celebration on June 13 at Guastavino's, a Manhattan landmark known for its distinctive architecture beneath the 59th Street Bridge. The event brought together 20 graduating residents and their loved ones for a memorable evening.

Department Chair Dr. Hugh Hemmings welcomed guests and opened the program. He thanked the team who made this year's celebration possible and recognized the support of family, friends and dedicated faculty.

Dr. Hugh Hemmings to graduates: "We take a lot of pride in your success."

Executive Vice Chair for Academic Affairs Dr. Kane Pryor remarked on world events that touch the department, emphasizing that the department's mission remains steady. On behalf of the faculty, he expressed what a privilege it has been to teach this class.

"I want to thank you, graduates, for what it is that your journey means to us and how much you enrich our professional and personal lives."
