The Weill Cornell Pain Medicine Center delivers comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for individuals with acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain. Furthermore, the center currently trains the largest class of Pain Medicine Fellows in New York State, and is involved in the latest research trials.
The Pain Medicine Center has three primary goals:
- Provide compassionate, state-of-the-art treatment for patients whose chronic pain has affected their ability to function and enjoy life
- Advance the understanding and treatment of Pain through research
- Educate the next generation of health care providers through New York’s largest Interventional Pain Fellowship, and medical student and resident rotations
Treatment is provided in three state-of-the-art and comfortably appointed centers located in New York City on the East Side, the Upper West side, and across from the Lower Manhattan Hospital.
